Alterations
We are very fortunate to have an in-house seamstress to help with all your alteration needs. Miss Cindy Burke works independently from the boutique, but works exclusively for our brides and in our boutique.
Alterations are a separate cost and based on what needs done on the dress, which can vary depending on if you just need straps and a hem or something more extension/custom.
Bustles are added to the dress in alterations. There are three types to consider: french, invisible and traditional. Depending on how your gown is structured and the bride’s preference will determine your bustle. We recommend bringing your maid of honor/mom to your final fitting to learn how to bustle the gown.
Alterations need to be done no later than 2-3 months before the wedding.
